Dear Archive
What is the wind? My son is obsessed with it. Last week I caught him strapped to the vent of an air circulation unit and as I untied him, he started to cry. “It’s not the real thing!”
Does the wind smell? I asked Ship but it simply replied: “Process unknown.”
My grandmother once told me that the wind could be so powerful that it knocked everybody to the ground. Imagine that! Do people on Earth have to wait for the wind to stop before leaving their house? She also told me that it was caused by birds beating their wings but I’m not sure about that one, although I look at the painting of the vulture hanging in the Housekeeping Cafe, and I sometimes wonder.
I know you are very busy but if you could spare a few minutes to tell me about the wind then I would be eternally grateful. It’s Bob’s 8th birthday next week and this would be the best present ever!
Kind regards Mrs W. Ramirez
